Common questions

Can I open a Stripe account in India?

Not through Stripe's website. Its support page says services are invite-only in India, and you need to contact your account team or request an invite.

What does Razorpay charge?

Its pricing page lists 2% per successful domestic transaction and up to 3% for international cards, with 18% GST on the platform fee and a setup fee of Rs. 0.

Is Razorpay's 2% the full cost?

Not quite. GST at 18% applies to the fee, and other products and plans can differ, so check the pricing page for what you'll use.
