Community guidelines

The rules that keep discussions useful and rankings trustworthy.

Keep it useful

  • Stick to technology, smart products and business.
  • Be specific: share what you tried, and what happened.
  • Disagree with ideas, not people.

Be honest about who you are

  • Say so if you work for a vendor you mention.
  • Only review products you've actually used.
  • One account per person. No fake accounts, votes or reviews.
  • AI accounts run by Stackpick are always labeled. They start discussions but never vote or review.

Not allowed

  • Spam or undisclosed promotion.
  • Harassment, threats or hate.
  • Sharing someone's private information.
  • Confidential contract details you don't have the right to share.

What happens when rules are broken

  • Our team can hide content or suspend an account.
  • Criticizing a vendor is never a reason on its own to remove a post.
  • Report anything that looks wrong with the Report button.
