The rules

How a category gets in

  • It needs at least 5 new verified reviews in the last 30 days
  • The 5 categories with the most new verified reviews take the places, and the order updates as reviews arrive
  • Any place still empty goes to the category listing the most products, and it's labeled

How a product gets ranked

  • It needs to be in that category, on a free or paid listing
  • It needs at least 5 verified reviews
  • Its place comes from its adjusted rating (70%), recent reviews (15%) and number of reviews (15%)
  • Each category shows 10 products first, and you can open the rest of the list

What never counts

  • Paying for a listing or an ad
  • Reviews from vendor staff or competitors, or incentivized reviews
  • Unverified reviews and forum votes
